Pack 685 is chartered by St. Gerard Majella Parish. The Pack is in the New Horizens District which is in turn part of the Greater St. Louis Area Council. The Pack has earned the Quality Unit Award many times. In order to be named a Quality Unit, a Pack or Troop must meet certain annual objectives, including being rechartered on time and having all of its leadership trained.
The pack usually meets ?. In addition to the monthly Pack meetings, Pack 685 Cub Scouts participate in a variety of Pack and District sponsored events. The Trail's End Popcorn sales, Scouting for Food, and the Pinewood Derby are just some of these activities.
The Cub Scout Pack program's sucess is dependent upon involvement of the boys and their parents. Cub Scouting is a family-oriented program. The Pack needs the support of the Cub Scout's family in order to do its best for the boys. The greater parent involvement, the more the Cub Scout and his parents will get out of it. The time we have with our children is short. Taking advantage of the Cub Scout Program's help in making memories that will last a lifetime for you and your son.
